My telephone cord was cut in several places. I am a woman that checked in alone and this was a nightmare to say the least.
Nice place with nice rooms, friendly staff and plenty of parking
The front desk staff are professional and pleasant. The dining room for breakfast was nice and pleasant.
Great rooms good way on the protocol on COV 19 staff super nice and helpful
Stayed here before my next shift. The receptionist Archibald was very courteous. The room was comfortable and clean. I had everything that I needed to feel comfortable here.
Nice clean hotel with plenty of parking and friendly female receptionist (in the morning) but do not buy the pantry beer. I have frequently stayed at Garden Inn hotels where they had prices displayed for pantry snacks and drinks but there weren't any at this Garden Inn on 670 Gateway Blvd, South San Francisco. I only found out later that I was charged $9 for a small bottle of domestic beer (double the price of other hotels) after I got my room receipt via email. Seems like price-gouging during the pandemic.
Tub not cleaned, with brown water residue. Staff did not address the problem of very slow drainage in both rooms. Waken by construction at 6 a.m.
My favorite hotel on my entire trip. If you can get here, take it. Lovely aesthetics, top quality rooms is always with Hilton, and a nice view from your window. Worth it.
I was at the INTERCONTINENTAL MARK HOPKINS HOTEL and was treated very poorly there I came here and the best staff and workers very polite ppl highly
recommended to anyone
Beds are fantastic. I didn't want to get up.
Great value, clean and comfortable.
My exit experience was not the best. I felt demining by the as attitude from the girl at the front desk.
I asked for a brown breakfast bag, to which she responded, those are for members only. The attitude was shortsighted and unrefined, I new they were 10.00 to purchase.
I guess members have more privileges then paying guests.
I liked the employees but the breakfast isnt available cause of the pandemic and they dont have a whirlpool suite with a tub in the main room, only in the bathroom. The appliances and outlets are super outdated as well.
This hotel is good option to stay in South San Francisco. Well maintained and reasonabley priced with most of the required amenities for business as well as leisure stay. The rooms are spacious for the price and bathroom too is sufficiently large. You get mini refrigerator and microwave in the room and staff members are cooperative. The restaurant has just basic sort of menu and best thing is the restaurant staff members are very nice.
This is one of my favorite hotels in the area. The rooms are nice. The staff are helpful. Easy access to the freeways.
Nice service. Clean hotel..loved the view outside our room
Very nice hotel! We stayed for 3 nights for our new year vacation, and we really enjoy it! People at the front desk are always very kind and helpful. The rooms are large and clean. Convenient location near the airport too.
The facilities were clean and staff tentative. Breakfast was also nice. I would stay here again.
It's definitely a 3 star hotel experience, but decent accommodations being away from home. This was a business trip for me. The room was nice, okay internet speeds (but on the slower side) without paying extra for the high-speed wifi. The bed and pillows were comfortable and no bed bugs anywhere. Plenty of outlets to charge all my electronics and run my medical devices. Temperature was comfortable and easy to control. Complimentary apples, bananas, and coffee in the lobby each morning along with complimentary USA Today newspapers. The food we ordered for dinner at the bar was tasty and prepared well - very adequate. The staff everywhere was friendly and helpful.
The negatives were two very slow elevators that desperately need to be upgraded to something this century! No complimentary continental breakfast is offered. The continental breakfast that is offered seems overpriced at $16 per person. And the room with very basic amenities seemed overpriced at $271 per night, but that is just a reflection of how very expensive the entire South San Francisco area is!
It’s a young hotel, less than 8 years old so everything is still so new! Easy to get to the hotel, in the commercial newer area, north of the San Francisco Airport, cleaner area than those hotels closer to SFO.
FREE shuttle every 30-45 mins or just 8 minutes drive from SFO.
About 8.3 miles Moscone Center or Westfield San Francisco Center, bur it will take you good 18 mins drive without traffic and expect upward to 35-40 mins with traffic!
Beautiful Christmas decorations, fireplace on both side of the lounge/waiting area, quite nice!
Comfortable bed, good lighting, comfortable space, TV and lightings, spacious bathroom but it got fog up easily after a hot shower!
Full hot breakfast $14.95 for guests but if you are at least Silver Hilton Honors member, it’s FREE! But it gets so packed that we couldn’t find a seat. So we went to the communal table in the other her side of the fireplace.
Wifi is also FREE for Hilton Honors member!
Parking is $13 a day, not sure why because it’s not a gated parking garage!
Each room comes with a fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea maker too!
Great service by Constantin, Su and an in-training Wu, they offer you coffee/tea as you check in! Quite nice and very efficient. I would come back next time when I have a conference in SF. I can avoid the traffic/hustle and peacefully here!
Small elevator so it can get busy on prime time of morning and dinner time.
It’s a solid spot a business traveler, or staying a night before your early flight out from SFO, or even for a quick visit staycation in SF!
As good as it can get for what I pay here!
Better than most hotels I've booked. Good variety of breakfast choices, including juices. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests.
Wonderful room..clean and spacious. Good food and choices. People very friendly.
I am beyond disappointed.
My parents checked out more than a week ago but we found out last night that we might have forgot something in the room.
So I called last night, my call was directed to housekeeping manager who was off for the day which I understood. I left a voicemail kindly asked her to call me back, I stated it is an important matter.
This morning there was no call back so I called again thinking she must have been in at that hour (10-ish). No one picked up, I left a voicemail restated this is VERY IMPORTANT because my parents are leaving the country tomorrow and they need to bring the missing things with them. All I needed to know was whether or not they found things left behind.
I waited for another few hours until this afternoon almost 2pm, still no call back. I called up the front desk again and told the person picked up my call about why I needed to get ahold of someone who can give me useful information, even if they just tell me “no we didn’t see anything” that would be fine at least I know. The front desk person took down all the necessary information and said she was going to make sure the housekeeping manager gets the message. Until this time, no one called back.
All I was trying to find out is if they did find something in the room or not. How complicated is this request? How much time does this take? I am still hoping to get a call back, we shall see how long it’s gonna take.
It's a waste of stars. Don't be fooled. The facility is also too old.
Waitress serving the weekend breakfast restaurant was the worst people in the world. I will not go here anymore. I want to stop anyone going here.
We recently (July 2019) stayed at Hilton Garden Inn San Francisco Airport North (670 Gateway Boulevard, South San Francisco, California 94080) due to its convenience to the wedding we were attending and had several unpleasant encounters / incidences. My father is blind and therefore required some minimal handicap accommodations.
When we arrived we had trouble with parking. First off we needed handicap parking which all stalls were taken. Not a problem because I dropped my father off in the front. But when I went searching for parking it was practically all taken, at 11:30am! Finally I waited for a spot. This was not the last time we had trouble. That same evening, after coming back from the wedding the whole parking was full with cars parked at red curbs, back-to-back. The driveup at the entry of the hotel had cars parked one behind the other so I had trouble dropping my father off. It took about 15 minutes for us to finally decide to park on a red curb. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, they just apologized for the inconvenience. There must have been 20-30 AT&T vans using the parking lot along with a large UHaul taking up at least 5 spots. The following night was even worse. We did not find parking at all and had to park at a red curb behind the building. This is very disturbing and problematic, not to mention a huge safety concern. This problem needs to be resolved before a Fire Marshall is called and the hotel gets shut down. On top of everything, this hotel charges $13/night for parking! I fought this charge but this is absurd!
At breakfast after our first night's stay my father and brother were treated rudely by the Restaurant staff. They went ahead and sat them 10min prior to closing everything down and then started cleaning up before my father even had a chance to get the food he wanted. When my father asked them to hold on until he was able to serve himself the lady snapped and implied that it was not her fault they came late. She should have just told them from the beginning, before charging them, that breakfast was closed.
In the hotel room the did not have proper temperature control. Once the AC reached the desired temperature it completely turned off making it hot. Then it automatically turned on and made it very cold. This continued to happen as a routine.
Reached out to Hilton customer service with no solution. Would not recommend stay at this Hilton.
We stayed here for one night at the end of our vacation before an early flight out of SFO. Location was excellent for that purpose - just a few minutes from SFO. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was exceptionally nice and it was a nice touch that they had drinks (iced tea & lemonade) and cookies available in the lobby and coffee in the morning. If you’re flying out of SFO this is an excellent choice.
Clean room, spacious parking, overall the hotel is GREAT! Before our stay at Hilton Garden we booked a 4 day stay at a nearby hotel which is also owned by Hilton(starts with an E and ends in Y) but it wasn’t a good experience. So here we are...Hilton Garden Inn...from the check in it was great John at front desk helped us out...we arrived at Hilton Garden a little early around 11 am after checking out from the other hotel...I know that most hotel check in is 3 pm...and if you want to check in early they will charge you an extra day rate...but John helped us by checking if there are room available for us to check in...5 minutes later we are on our way to our room...it’s clean...parking space is spacious...it’s not free $13 but it’s better than $29 a day! Hilton Garden Inn is cheaper in price but not in standard. Thank you Hilton Garden in for saving our vacation from being a disappointment. 5 star...2 thumbs up! Overall it’s well managed...great staff! Great hotel! ( Trust me I know...worked at a hotel scene for 10 years).
The fitted sheets weren't over my bed or my guests bed fully. We had to make our own beds. I only found after getting into it and laying directly on the mattress which is gross. Everything was stained yellow like a smokers house. Parking isn't free you have to pay and its not even near anything so it seems pointless considering how expensive the room is. The water bottles weren't free. The TV was fuzzy and unclear. The key didn't work so I had to go all the way back down to get them to fix it. It was an outdated overpriced room which didn't seem fully clean. I don't recommend this place try one of the other ones.
My first time here and I am not really a traveler. My day started very early EST and when I finally arrived, I was so turned around and very tired. My manager called your hotel and spoke to Ray guest service representative who then conferenced me in and had a shuttle pick me up at the airport. He called to check on me and apparently when I walked in he knew just who I was. I have never been greeted with such sincere kindness. Ray is surely going places and you are very lucky to have him employed. His customer service skills are the best I've seen. I am in customer service and would be so lucky to have someone like Ray working for our team
I plan on telling my travel department about my experience with Ray and the hotel. Everyone is just so wonderful. Please make note to recognize Ray for his customer service skills. He went above and beyond to make my stay here perfect. You are very lucky to have him
I also plan on telling my travel department about my wonderful visit. Thank you for everything
