I purchased a one night stay at this hotel before boarding my cruise the next day. Due to Covid my cruise was cancelled. I had purchased a non-refundable room but hoped to at least receive a voucher for when I could actually take my vacation in the next year. Both Hotels.com and this hotel have denied any sort of extension to my $150+ payment so I will receive no services for the money I paid. I understand, and certainly regret, purchasing a non-findable room, however, many other companies have quickly granted their customers vouchers for the services they paid for and did not receive when the reason for the cancellation/delay was due to Covid. These companies should be ashamed of not adjusting their policies during a uniquely difficult time for all of their customers.

No room service available with Covid guidelines excuses (no cleaning in Covid??). That's not how it is in other states/hotels.
The long haired guy with eyeglasses in the reception is very very rude. He treats you like he's doing you a favor and you work under him. Never returning to this hotel.
Great for airport parking. Reasonable pricing. Safe. Staff very friendly & helpful. Has nice van for shuttle.
hotel manager has an attitude and is very rude. Hotel is fine tho. But wouldn't stay again due to the manager, makes the stay unpleasant.
Avoid this place. Really the only thing good about it is the convenience to the airport. Don't expect consistent hot water. Runs hot for about 3 minutes then start to run cold again. It was not an issue of demand either because the hotel is nearly empty as far as guests go so either the system is inadequate or they intentionally have it turned down, to hell with guest comfort. Secondly bathroom was dirty. There was a prior guests dirty towel hanging from the hook on the back of the bathroom door as well as hairs in the tub. Then being my flight wasn't until 7pm I wanted a late check out to which I said I would happily pay for how ever the guy clearly doesn't care about Best Western franchise reputation and is still running this place like his family's motel 6 because he wanted to charge me 50 dollars to extend my checkout to 1:30pm. I could literally get an entire other hotel room on Expedia for 50 bucks. So as I stated avoid. For the price of these rooms you can get much better service and quality. Definitely my first bad Best Western experience.
Clean and functional. The scenery is not so hot.
When I went to check in I had to wait 10 mins for the front desk person to come back to the hotel as I was informed by his sons. The lamp shades were dirty. The bathroom was dirty no toilet tissue in the room.

Our vacation was canceled due to the pandemic, and this hotel is refusing to offer a refund for our reservation! The air lines, cruise lines and rental car companies have all been very accommodating with refunds and credits during this time, but we are losing our money here because they refuse to be flexible! Whenever we get the chance to rebook our trip, we will NOT be staying here!!

The front desk clerk was everything for me. I’m not from here and I drive an 18 Wheeler, parking is crazy for me but with the help of the front desk clerk omg things were so much easier. He told me where I could park, the best place to have dinner and made sure we have everything we needed. When I come back this will be the place I stay at
If I could give no Stars I would. I had clients check in on Friday after 8pm their room was nasty and not clean they asked the front desk to move them rooms the lady at the front desk had a terrible attitude. So they called me I then called the hotel asked if they could be moved room they move them to an even dirtier room. They then took pics and sent them to me and showed the front desk. They refused to move them again and my clients ended up checking out and having to go to a new hotel. I spent hours on the phone to get them a refund and they only wanted to give them particular. My clients were not even in the hotel 2 hours. The TV's didn't work there was hair in the beds the shower and the bathroom smelled like mold. They reps at the front desk along with the Manager Sid was not helpful at all. I would never recommend anyone staying here. As I type this I am still currently on hold fighting for my clients to get the refund they are rightfully owed
I would like to share my experience in the dealings with one of your General Managers (Khaliq) at The Best Western Plus New Orleans Airport. This was the worst and most unprofessional service I have ever experienced with any hotel staff member-- and this came directly from their General Manager and staff.
I booked my reservation for an Airport Shuttle to be picked up and dropped off at the airport during my requested time. I arrived at the property running a little late, so I was anxious to be dropped off at the airport.
Upon arrival I was greeted by a front desk agent (Tina) who had me fill out the basic paperwork, then gave me a tag to put on my dashboard. As I exited the property to my car, I ran into a gentleman (who happened to be the GM, Khaliq) and asked him if he was the airport shuttle driver. He mumbled a few words about a rental car center, but I rushed off to my car since I was already late.
As I returned back to the lobby, I began to register what he said that I would not be dropped off at the airport, but I was to be dropped off at the rental car center. This is not what I paid for and this should have been disclosed prior to the signing of documents.
When I questioned the General Manager, Khaliq, of why I was not going to be dropped off at the airport, he immediately got defensive and told me that if I didn't like it then I could get my money back. I told him that it is a valid question because I paid for services that are not being rendered. He proceeded to get an attitude and speak very rudely. We exchanged words, but his rude response was ... nobody wants to work so we can't take you, take it or leave it.
As I said, I was running late. I could not afford to drive my car to another parking venue and miss my flight. I proceeded with the trip and told Lake that I will be contacting his superiors for his rude and unprofessional demeanor. His associate apologized on his behalf and said he was under stress. I was dropped off at the rental car center where I had to walk across the car drop off lot to the other side to catch a 15 minute shuttle to the airport.
This is not appropriate if I am paying my money. The driver, Tina, told me that when I return, they should have a drive. Upon my return, I called the number as instructed and was told to catch the shuttle to the rental car center. When I questioned her this time, Tina responded with a "It's a free shuttle," which I then replied "My time isn't free and this is a huge inconvenience"
The experience was terrible. I have worked for Hyatt's across the country and have never experienced such disrespect. I will never recommend nor stay at this property, even for parking services. If a business cannot provide SHUTTLE SERVICES TO AIRPORT, they should not advertise that they are able to do so and take money from hardworking individuals. They should also be mindful that everyone is in stressed out positions at this time and to be courteous to those who are patronizing their business.
I hope that there is a follow up with this properties ownership group, General Manager and team.

Since they moved the airport terminal, this is very far away. The "north" airport hotels are now closer. Holiday inn, radisson, etc.
I highly recommend you do NOT stay at this property. As a Diamond Select member, this was absolutely the worst Best Western property I have ever stayed in.
Tina checked me in and was friendly, but it went downhill from there. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the room hadn't been cleaned at all. It appeared the beds had been made, towels replaced, and that was it.
There was a huge stain on the pillow, and there was no way that it could have been overlooked over by the housekeeper, or an executive housekeeper if one even works here. Once I pulled back the sheets, they were very wrinkled with hair and food crumbs/particles. Bathroom wasn't cleaned throughly as well.
I spoke with the front desk within minutes of checking in. The property was near sold out that evening, and they had no rooms of the same type available. Since I had another room, we all ended up sleeping in that room.
The next morning, I was told there was an emergency with the housekeeper that day, and they weren't sure what rooms she had cleaned already. (Basically they were in a rush since the hotel was sold out the next night, so they just made up the beds with dirty sheets is what he was really trying to say). I was assured a manager would contact me to discuss a refund.
Two weeks have since passed, I have called everyday asking for a manager, only to be told every time he's unavailable. I have also contacted Best Western Corporate, but they do not have the authorization to do refunds.
Management of this hotel might even be worse then the cleanliness. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Holiday Inn Airport North instead.
Alright if just need an airport hotel. Room for improvement on cleanliness. Breakfast ok. Soap products nice.

This place is very very nice. Full breakfast, shuttle to the airport, super clean , awesome staff, i wish the airports was as clan as this hotel was, it would be so much better to see and land at THANK YOYU BEST WESTERN!!!
Convenient location but it is near railroad tracks. Not a problem for me but just a caution. Clean rooms, comfortable bed and chairs. Free breakfast is usual fare found at most mid-range cost hotels. Courteous, helpful staff. My only complaint was no closed caption on the TV!
I don't ever recall ever being in a motel where you can literally hear every step someone makes and the hear the conversation from the floor above but this place takes the case. I could not sleep because of the motion of the people over my room.
The room was beautiful and the check in clerk accommodated me without me asking for a handicap room. The shower was nice.
But I wouldn't stay here again unless they are going to open the floor and include insulation.
Room was adequate but this soured on return, Do not fall for the shuttle service to the port, the charge that is advised is $15 and then the parking fees. What apparently they don’t advise since this seems to be a modified version of their airport service is that the $15 only covers a one way trip. Which if that was advised at the beginning would be fine. We arrived at the hotel around 12am the day of our cruise and noticed they offered a shuttle service and parking, we inquired about the service and were told the parking rates and then $15 for shuttle service and when we return from the cruise we would be able to call and they would pick us up. We thought this would be great we wouldn’t have to fight to navigate streets that were unfamiliar and it would be slightly cheaper, a win win. This is not how it worked, the drop off super easy, we get back from our cruise and call and the gentleman said “oh $15 only covers one way” I proceeded to let them know that is not what we were advised of and explained the situation. The response was lack luster from the “front desk supervisor”, no apology or empathy shown period, no solutions provided other than we can recommend a cab service for you. When requesting a some higher to speak with he let me know it would be a moment, a woman then got on the line, she did not provide name or title just “ Best western, how can I help you”. I explained the situation again, and big surprise again no sympathy or empathy shown just “ well you were misinformed”. That’s it not even the offer to assist in anyway, I then asked if it was the hotels common practice to offer one way trips to a cruise terminal that was roughly 30-40 minutes again “ oh that’s how some people want it” when I asked for a solution she begrudgingly said “well if you pay the $15 we can have our shuttle come get you” obviously not what we were quoted but we were okay paying for the service since it is outside the normal range of their shuttles which is the airport( which is across the road from the hotel). I let her know that was fine and would be a good solution and asked about what time we should expect the shuttle. She then let me know that the return shuttle when be the same shuttle time that delivered us originally 12 or later. For information purposes all cruises have a debarkation time that they stick to pretty much to a T, our cruise line had us off the boat at 9am so I was on the phone with the hotel at 9:50 or so. The solution she was offering was a roughly 2 hour wait on a cruise terminal with our luggage, this is not a solution this was rude and absolutely ridiculous, we will no longer be staying at any Best Westerns anywhere because of this behavior, and yes I know it is cliche but our family of 22 that vacations every other year together will not be either. The behavior of this woman was horrendous and she should be speaking with customers in anyway and should be sequestered to cleaning rooms to prevent as much contact with them as possible.
Convenient location for flights out Louis Armstrong Airport. Shuttle services included and reasonable parking fees. Great friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate us. Lots of Cajun cuisine near by. Can't wait to go back
