The girl at the front desk was very nice and is the only reason we are giving this place two stars. The room was gross. Hairs on the bed I won’t even say where it looked like it came from. The bathroom was gross. We spent 20 minutes in there before we decided to leave and find something else. We were going to a Packer game the next morning. We checked out at 11pm and drive 45 minutes to Kenosha where we found a good Quality Inn for the same price. I wish I could remember the lady at the front counter’s name, because she was great.
Very close to the airport terminals, good rate, clean rooms. lately it is hard to get fresh coffee in the lobby..
(Nov. 15) Hotel accommodations were adequate and commiserate with the price. The shuttle service TO the airport was fine; because of the hotel's location, the shuttle ride is less than 5 minutes in pre-dawn traffic. HOWEVER, upon our return 2 days later, we called for the shuttle and were assured one was on its way, but it never came. We waited 35 minutes in the designated outdoor location, called again, and once more were assured the shuttle was coming. Shuttle never came. We WALKED back to the hotel (less than 2 miles). When we reported to the front desk, there was no explanation nor apology. The shuttle van pulled into the parking lot as we were departing, and the driver also had no explanation or apology.
Freezer in mini fridge was frozen solid, leaking into the carpet in the entryway. Someone had tripped the ground and it was not working all all when we got there. They reset the outlet. We were told it would be looked at by maintenance the next day, was not looked at. We had to keep cleaning up the water the entire 2 night stay.
Super 8 was really great! The service was professional and very accommodating. It will definitely be a spot for my weekend getaway!
