Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Airport- Riverport

Could use some updating overall lighting in our room was very dim. The staff on the other hand shined bright. The shuttle service very accommodating.

Nice hotel. Nice hot breakfast. The staff is not the friendliest. The pool is outdoor only. One elevator was out of service and the 3rd floor elevator door was stuck open, leaving an open shaft any person could have fallen into! I went immediately to the front desk to inform them and they acted like they did not know what to do

I stayed here 2 nights ago and was honestly disappointed. I don't stay in hotels often but I thought holiday inn was a nicer hotel and we'll kept up. I guess this location slipped though the cracks. When I walked through the lobby across the rug I can feel the tiles underneath moving because they're all broken. We got our room and they're are loose tiles in front of the elevator. Inside the elevator the tiles are all broken AND I actually picked up an entire tile off the floor of it. The room was ok. Nicer bed and furniture. Dresser was scratched up a lot and there was black AND white mold growing on the air conditioner.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel for concerts at the amphitheater. The first time was better than this last time. To be fair, I didn’t stay in the room as long as I had the second time to notice any details. The breakfast was substantially worse this time. The breads were stale, meat either overcooked and dry or undercooked, same for the omelettes.



The room made me feel gross, and I very strongly felt that the hotel was not worth $100+ my family and I paid. There were dead bugs (a fly and spider), unsettling random substances caked to the walls, and you could tell the hotel is in desperate need of repairs (my window was cracked...). The only reason this rating isn’t lower is because the personality of some of the staff was so great. I have posted pictures.

Nice place to stay. I did the park and fly package instead of parking at the airport, which saved me money. Shuttle driver was very kind and helpful, sorry I didn't catch his name. They offered us free bagels, muffins, fruit even though we caught the shuttle at 5:30 am. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
