DoubleTree Hotel Westshore Tampa Airport

Good place to stay clean and nice having the bar at night to have some drinks and watch some football. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Hot tub was hot and the pool was refreshing

Very dirty. Smudge of I don’t know what in light switch in bathroom. Toenails on carpet next to bed. Gross. No fridge in room which is standard in all other properties, doubletree,Hilton, Marriott, Sheraton even Wyndham. I called for a fridge and was told none available. Not a fan of this hotel. Food in restaurant is mediocre at best. This property is badly in need of renovation overhaul and better room cleaning supervision. Sadly this is where my company contracts and I will be here 4 nights in December. Ugh

Decent, clean, but definitely could use a face-lift. Great conference facilities. Would go again.



Pros: Clean. Tons of conference rooms of all types and sizes. Well run. Great sounds-guys (don't know if they came with the venue, but they were awesome). Staff were very friendly. Free shuttle up to 2 miles away with drivers that are kind and don't act like they're in a Mad Max movie, thank goodness. Amazing food all around. Nice little pool that's well taken care of.



Cons: nothing for the conference facilities, but for the hotel itself things like fraying shower curtains, leaky shower, etc., show it's age, but nothing disastrous. Bathrooms by the pool badly need a refresh. Worst thing was the noise - some of the rooms apparently are quieter, but the ones on the freeway side of the tower seem to have no protection from sounds. Elevator noise and freeway noise were constant. Luckily I was tired enough not to care and slept beautifully. Oh, also no fridge in rooms. And the stores in the lobby don't sell a lot of what one would expect (I would expect gifts, toiletries, food/drinks, headphones and other electronics, etc.)

This hotel is old and need of update. No fridge in room, no complimentary anything except under baked cookie. Put in room sitting on top of freeway Extremely Loud. When asked front desk for a different room they told me all their rooms face the freeway. It was such a dumb reply it made my brain hurt. Checking out early and will never stay here again. Stay away from this hotel. I live in hotels and travel 3 to 4 weeks out of the month. It was an accident when I booked this one. Never again!

Very nice hotel! The staff are very friendly, the hotel is very nice and clean! The ac works extremely well! Which is huge in Florida!! Breakfast was amazing! So much to choose from!! The only issue we had was the bed was a queen instead of the king we reserved. They were extremely busy, so I am sure everything was just booked. Oh well. More snuggle time for me and my hubby! Lol Definitely would stay here again 😊
