This place needs major renovations. Room smelled like old cigarettes. Lobby smelled like gas (and employees just shrugged). Carpet is very stained and loose. Room was not very clean. Door locks felt flimsy and not secure. Ved and pillows were comfortable. Free outdoor parking, but one narrow steep ramp for bringing up luggage--was not easy to use.

Spend the extra money and go to either the Hampton Inn or the Comfort Inn down the street. I booked a 7 night stay and was ready to go the first night. The hotel has a funny smell, room service has only come by once in a 4 day stay, there is No Breakfast, although it is advertised, and the pool has not been open for use since we got here. Booked through Hotels.com and Clarion Inn refused to give me a refund on my last 3 days should I decide to check out early. This is the Worst experience in a hotel I have ever had in Englewood. And I travel here frequently because my family is here. Guaranteed I will NEVER be back.

The Clarion at Dayton Airport was a little off our path (we were driving on I-75) but it’s right off of I-70. The hotel staff were very courteous and polite, specifically Malinda was extremely helpful. The room was clean and operational. The hotel is a little bit older but the rooms have been updated. We would stay here again if we were stopping in the area.

The benefit of a late night restaurant and bar was definitely a huge bonus during a canceled flight.
The mozzarella sticks were greasy as heck and tasted like they were cooked in very stale oil.

I have been using this hotel for several years even under a different name but what makes the difference is the staff. I recently stayed there and lost an item the front desk and housekeeping staff went above and beyond to help me and yes ultimately found my item. Whenever i am in the Dayton area I will be guest at the Clarion Inn thank you Melinda for all your help your people are amazing pleasant and friendly

The check in and check out process was really fast. The hotel was clean and staff members were very friendly. It's located right off the highway in a quiet environment. I highly recommend.

The older lady at the front desk was super amazing! The hotel is old but some things do still work. The ice machine was broken at every location in the hotel. The front desk advise me that we have to go to the bar to get ice. Hotel room door didn't close all the way so made it hard to secure the door. Hot tub was nice but you have to get out of it ever 10 mins to turn it back on so it was very hard to enjoy it.

The main areas of the hotel could use an update and/or some repairs, but the rooms seem to have been updated recently and were quite comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast was very nice.
